Norse achieves ISO 9001 Quality re-accreditation

Norse Grounds recently had its ISO9001 Quality certification renewal, with operations across all services, support areas of the business and all local authority partnerships falling into scope.

 

The three-year re-certification process involves an independent audit, which is carried out by Lloyds Register. The audit looks for strong evidence to demonstrate that Norse are complying with all elements of the 9001 standard requirements.  

 

Denise Banfield, Norse Quality Services Manager said; “The teams impressed both me and the Lloyd’s auditor with their continued level of commitment and knowledge, at both operational and management level.”

 

“With the amount of growth across the whole business now, the more we can adopt generic procedures, especially those that hit the ISO 9001 criteria, the easier it is to guide management teams through the process for certification. Such procedures are also highly beneficial to Norse as these are the systems that drive the quality in our services,” she added.

 

Sales Director Geoff Tucker commented; “More and more tenders for contract work now make quality assurance an essential element of potential suppliers’ proposals. Re-certification of this recognised international standard will endorse our credentials as a company committed to providing the very best service in all aspects of our operations.”
